VENDÉE

The CRUISER

Golden Era Luxury & Timeless Craftsmanship

Step into a living piece of American maritime history. Built by the legendary Matthews Boat Company during the pinnacle of custom wooden boatbuilding, Vendée represents the peak of 1920s elegance and sophisticated naval engineering. With her stout plumb bow, stunningly restored wood detailing, and classic lines, she captures the romance of a bygone era. Vendée is the ultimate setting for intimate, upscale cruising where every detail feels historic, exclusive, and tailored.

Cruising aboard Vendée is a sensory journey. From the gentle rumble of her engine to the sun reflecting off her meticulously polished brightwork, she is built for leisure and luxury. Whether you are sipping champagne during a calm morning breakfast charter, entertaining VIP guests on an afternoon escape, or watching the sunset paint the sky from her spacious, canvas-sheltered cockpit, Vendée turns an ordinary day on the river into an unforgettable milestone event.

The name of our vintage motor cruiser, Vendée, is a deeply personal throwback to my youth in France, named after the very waters where I first learned to sail and fell in love with the maritime life. Bringing her here to Yorktown feels like bringing a piece of home across the Atlantic—and it is a beautiful, serendipitous nod to the deep historical relationship France and Yorktown have shared for centuries. It’s our way of blending old-world heritage with the timeless beauty of the Virginia coast.

MINE: 1988 30’ WATKINS

MINE

The SAILBOAT

Authentic Sailing Heritage & PHOTOGRAPHY EXPERIENCE

For those who feel the pull of the open air and the snap of a canvas sail, MINE offers the ultimate escape. Built in 1988 by Watkins Yachts—a Florida builder renowned for family-friendly, heavily constructed coastal cruising sloops—this 30-foot sailboat beautifully balances stability with classic performance. Featuring a classic masthead sloop rig, hand-rubbed teak trim, and a comfortable, deep cockpit, MINE is a timeless vessel built for authentic, close-to-nature sailing.

Sailing on MINE is all about capturing the true, unhurried spirit of traditional maritime life. With her classic lines, hand-rubbed teak trim, and striking white canvas sails, this 30-foot Watkins sailboat offers an authentic, dynamic backdrop for creative teams who want to capture the raw elegance of wind-driven motion. Ideal for high-end fashion campaigns, active lifestyle branding, or nautical editorial spreads, MINE delivers a pure, visually stunning connection to the sea that beautifully translates on camera.

The story behind the name of our sailboat, MINE, comes down to a sweet, ongoing debate with my husband, Travis. Over the years, whenever we talked about our dreams on the water, we would constantly joke back and forth, arguing, "No, it’s my boat!" or "No, it's mine!" One evening, while talking about her and feeling incredibly proud of owning her, the banter clicked into place. We laughed and said, "You know what? Let’s just name her MINE." It’s the perfect, playful reminder that this beautiful 30-foot escape belongs to both of us—and now, we get to share that sense of ownership and joy with everyone who steps aboard.
